Rogation Day Walk 2019

Rogation Sunday is the Sunday before Ascension Day. It was traditionally the day when the the congregation went out to "beat the bounds" of the parish.

Having already established electronically where the bounds of the Parish are and having also established that the Parish is quite big, we decided that a walk from St John's Church, Washingborough to St Thomas's Church, Heighington would be more fitting. Along the way we would stop at key points and offer prayers for various aspects of the two villages which make up our Parish.

These are some pictures from the walk. Please click on the picture or the description to see a larger version.
